What properties do the other elements in steel impart to the metal? Things such as:

Molybdenum
Vanadium
Manganese
Silicon

Of course vanadium and molybdenum are important carbide formers too....For all the newbies - there are many sources for info, tutorials etc . These ar great sources for learning .Track them down and read them again and again.
