He's going under the knife Monday morning for hip replacement surgery. I know it's a pretty routine procedure nowadays but, still, I'd appreciate y'all keeping him in your thoughts. Thanks!

Pretty routine but surgery is surgery. It's always a pain. My dad had no choice, he couldn't move around until he had it. Worked out OK, though, and I hope Pops does at least as well! :thumbup:

Well it looks like it's going to be postponned a little while. It turned out that his sodium level was a little too low yesterday so they took measures to raise it but the anesthesiologist still wasn't comfortable with it today and the Doc only does elective surgeries on Mondays and Tuesdays. So, long story short, they're working on rescheduling it now. Guess it's my fault for using the word "routine"

Anyway, thanks to all of y'all for the prayers and well wishes and I'll keep you updated.
