Could you, Would you, HAVE you applied tape?

I don't think he was talking about putting grip tape on the inside of the handle slabs. That would stop the knife from working at all never mind just not closing properly.......:confused:

Yeah. When he said flats I took it to mean the "flats" if the blade. But I see what he means now. But still, no I would never do that. Lol.
 
I don't see why anyone would do that.

If you hold a knife the correct way you won't need it. I'm not even a fan of jimping on a blade, but the thin jimping on CRK's doesn't bother me. I worked as a union meat cutter for many years, and owned a game processing business. I worked with bloody knives with wooden handles and no jimping. Never had my hand slip.
 
IMO, if u want grippy get bm755mpr. I got one as a gift, and it rips up everything. Blade-steel is good m-390, but I'll take CRK anytime.
