Ahh, right rope.

That blade's too purty to cut into. What steel is it?

I wouldn't cut into a WT original myself. I have one of the colabs that he made with Beretta Knives, and I think it's one of the nicest looking knives I have. Good choice, leave it original.

That is one beautiful blade you picked up CM. The carbon fiber/titanium blade is quite interesting. I completely understand the fact you decided not to cut into that, and if you really enjoy the wave the zip tie mod is a good alternative to permanent removal of material.

Excuse my lack of knowledge but what kind of knife is that? I'm not sure what WT stands for :o

Thanks

that certaintly is an interesting looking blade. how does it cut?, i've never seen titanium used as a blade steel before(or not that i know of) Is it easy to sharpen??

Haven't cut anything yet. It has carbide deposited to the edge so I doubt it will require sharpening with normal use.

I just tried to shave arm hair and was quite surprised to see it popped hairs.

Titanium is not steel. Technically it is a composite material.

Mission Knives use titanium blades. Beta hardened titanium with no carbide on the edges. Note the serrations are actually cut correctly for right handers.
Benchmade made a version of one of their knives that had a titanium blade with carbide edge. A chisel ground tanto.

The Benchmade is no longer available. Mission Knives are still in production.

This is a Mission MPF, Multi Purpose Folder. The entire knife is titanium, including the screws. Totally non-magnetic. These have been around since the late 80's or early 90's. I bought this one in 94.

This is the perfect size for a carry knife in my opinion.
