Couldn't resist! Fallkniven F1

Hi guys, here are some clickable pictures. I just got the knife. I was surprised at how hefty it is. It feels like you can do some serious work with this thing. The handles feel great, and I am very happy with the fit and finish.

You can really see the lamination in the middle 2 pictures. 2nd from the left, it's easy to see on the spine. 3rd from the left, the line near the edge of the blade.

If anybody has a request for pics of different angles/parts of the knife, etc., just let me know. :)

Looks like a real workhorse for sure. I would like to see the knife in the sheath, also how it looks on the belt.

no problem. believe it or not, i was sent the knife with a missing sheath. it's being taken care of, though. i expect it to take about a week to get here, unfortunately. till then one of the "factory" pictures in the first post of this thread will give you an idea, if you haven't seen it yet.

Get the knife bug........Naw....Not me......unless....According to my 12 step program I have to stay away from knife shows and Plaza Cutlery stores and don't ever, EVER , look at a A.G.Russell catalog.

The last knife show I went to there was a beautiful knife there with polished Water Buffalo handles and satin finished 6" blade with Abalone inserts in the handle...God it was beautiful...I was drooling and figured....Hey,,,We could eat Kraft macaroni and cheese with hot dogs for a few months...The kids can get on welfare and the dog could go on half rations.....LOL...

For my dog half rations is a half a cow instead of a whole cow....I think my dog (Malamute 127 lbs) could eat an entire Ox at one setting and still beg for scraps if your eating pizza.

Yes.......It was $856.00 and was my Birthday, Anniversary, and Christmas present for that year.

i love making deals like that! do you have any pictures of it? i'd love to see it.

so that this thread is still somewhat related, i am thoroughly enjoying my F1, but i'm still waiting for the sheath. as some of you may have caught in another thread of mine, i'm already thinking about getting another F1.

I have three F1s and love 'em all!
One is the standard model with the kydex sheath.
The second is the black micarta F1.
The third is the green micarta F1.
(And, my two micarta F1s do not have the laminated blade. They're earlier models with the simple VG-10 blade.)

Nice score on your F1! Enjoy!

I'm very jealous of your F1! I've always loved the micarta look. I wish I could afford that style. Good pics, too.

I also feel your pain on the dog costs. The family mastiff is at around 270# and will eat a wee bit of food. A good example is that we now just order an extra large pizza to give to him when ordering out. Crazy!

thank you sir! apparently it's not too uncommon to have more than F1. you have 3 and i've already met somebody who has 5 and another who has 7. i'm pretty sure that means this knife is awesome.

thanks spooky. man, that is a big dog! it's no easy task to be a dog so large that you make a rottweiler look little. maybe if you give him large instead of extra large pizzas for a little while, you can get the micarta F1. haha :)

I'm in the process of trying to figure out how to get a picture on here...May take a few days but I'll do it...It was on the cover of a knife periodical so I'm trying to find that and post a link.
