Couldn't resist the Leather Mark 1

I few months ago I bought the kraton Mark 1 from someone off of here. Great knife. Love it, but I've never used it. I really wanted the leather one ever since I first saw it. I'm trying to hold off on new knives, but the wife was working late tonight, ebay had a few, and I just couldn't resist! It should be here in a few days. Now I just don't know what to do with the kraton. Trade it? Sell it? Keep it? Beat it to hell and test the limits? It's not like I can't do the same thing with the leather version, but there is something about it that already makes me think I'm going to want to baby it. Perhaps it will make its way into a car BOB.

Any of you run into this problem with having both? What to do? What to do...

Use it, i dont buy knives not to be used, if i
did im would have 2 1 a user and 1 not, but thats just me.

Dunno about other guys, but once I started paying attention I realized it was helpful to keep knives in multiple places. No reason it can't sit in a dark corner (car trunk, garage) and then every once in a while prove its worth.

Nothing wrong with the one-knife concept either, of course. Then I'd say sell it to someone who might get a lot of use out of it. And if you were trying to limit your knife buying, then letting one go for every new one you pick up basically counts as limiting your knife buying :D

I love the leather, but Lady Moose wanted the Kraton. She got it.

I say put it the tackle box, damn good knife for fishin'. :D

I want a leather Mark I eventually. It's on my short list. Where the heck are the pics?

I keep looking at one of these too. Or the kraton one. Great looking knives! I want one even though I have more dang knives than I know what to do with...

It's around. Just search for a post I made with "biscuit" and "love" in it. That's the simpler recipe, but done right, the biscuits are good.

I think I might have gotten burned on the bay. Opening up a ticket now. Sorry, guys. I had hoped to have pics up by now.

I've got a leather stacked Mark 1 on the way as well. It'll be my first KA-BAR.

I own a non KABAR Mark I made by or maybe for Craftsman in the 1970's.....lost it for years at one my regular camping areas and then the girlfriend found it recently, leather rotted but still has a great edge, I'm planning to get a replacement one of my favorite traditional knives.
