Council Tool 3.5# Dayton - *Head only.
Here is a Council Tool head struck with CT on one side and marked 3 ½ the other. How old the head is I dont know. The bit looks to be in good order and its straight. It has a solid, if not nice, poll.
It is painted red but cant say if that is original to the axe or the previous owner did that. Where the paint has worn it is a very dark color. It is in the same state as found.
I included pictures of it sitting on a 36 straight handle for an idea of what it might look like hung. The handle is not included in the deal. 30-32" straight was my plan if keeping.
Maybe someone else might give it a home and use it.
