Just out of curiosity I was wondering how many knives the average knifenut has.(can almost make a toungetwister out of that)
I have 9 myself, and plans for one or two more here and there.
 
All the way up to a whoppin' 11 Spydies, 1 BK&T Campanion, and a hodgepodge of SAK's and multi tools. No matter how many I have, it seems I always get this percieved need for "just one more" *sigh* an incurable knife junkie, I am!
 
Well last time i counted it was around 150 Spydies. But that was awhile ago I'm pretty sure I have more now. And a few other misc stuff.

I counted last night - 40 Spydies w/ 3 more on the way.
I admit that I'm addicted, but it's a good addiction, really, it is.

Add another 11 from Busse(4), Livesay(2), Buck(1), Robert Newton(2) & Doggett(2).
 
just read the replies... I only entered for my spydies...

38 other, 6 spydies, 1 sword(another soon), 4 throwers...
and only in 12yrs of collecting..
 
I'm too lazy to count all my knives, but between my wife and I, we've got 10 Spydies (unless I'm forgetting something).

If Spyderco made it I have it or have had it. I owned and sold around 50 Case knives. I've owned and sold most CRKT makes. Boker. Alot of Benchmade and oh say 10 Microtechs. I'm big into cooking now so I own around 25 Wusthof kitchen knives, and one or two each of Henckel, Sabatier, Forschner / Victorinox, Dick, Lamson Goodnow and a few other kitchen manufacturers' knives.

Last time we did this post, I remeber counting over 100, but I know that I have 5 Spyderco in my collection.
 
I dont know if I would ever have more money in knives than is in my car, but way cool anyway. Another interesting note- i did the same poll in the buck forum and it is kind of interesting that ownership is simular among the different brands.
 
should check what someone said they have in the buck version of the poll: 550 Balisongs and 200 "other":eek:
