Tomorrow morning, we're going to the hospital and my wife is going to be induced to give birth!

The our doctor worded it, it sounded like he just wanted to schedule another appointment, so we asked if we could go on Tuesday instead so my wife could get some of her work done. Well, we didn't know because his wording was cryptic.

More to follow after our daughter is born and we're back here for a few days.

The VERY Best of luck sir and congrats to both of you, I pray that all works out perfectly!
I have Three little weddings, I mean Daughters...well one of them is married now, but I still speak to her from time to time ;)

Thanks, Gary!

What brings you down by 5 Khukuris Ain't Enough Avenue?

Hand/wrist any better? I've been praying for it to heal up.

Slumming of course :) just kidding!!! I've always been fond of the Khukuris, had one, sold it in a moment of weakness, excellent chopper!

As to the hands, my left was the weak link, and this past week just about back to full strength! So all prayers are welcome! Getting back into some leather work, have one fellow that I need to act on very soon, he had sent his knives back in December, but he knew ahead of time that I was on a break till spring and then the hand acted like I had severe arithtis, but it turns out not to be so.

Exciting to have a new one, I just turned 50 in January this year, my youngest is 12, so I've a long ways to go before the nest is empty...:)

Congratulations,

My baby will be 9 months on the 20th.

It sounds corny, but they do grow sooo fast.

Congrats. Hope it goes well for you guys tomorrow. :)

Thanks, everyone. I'm very excited and nervous.

Gary,

Glad to read that your hand is feeling better. Hey, you'll only be 56-70 when she leaves the nest.

Don't forget to take your shop apron along...maybe safety glasses too!

Ours was induced too. My wife says that Pitocin stuff is brutal.

P.S. Don't let your wife read this.

Nasty,

You're starting to sound like my in-laws. Sometimes, that's a compliment! ;) Usually in comparison to my family...

Terr,

We know petocin sucks. Lots of friends and relatives have had children recently and we're avid watchers of TLC's "A Baby Story". Thanks for the warning, though.

Congratulations and my best wishes. Helping your wife to give birth is an experience that every man should have in his life. You will never forget it.

Just be ready to run when she reaches seven centimeters because about then she really truly does want to _________ you for doing this to her.

Tom - do you mind me asking why she's being induced? (I apologize if the question is inappropriate)

Gary - going to be at IG's hammer-in?
