Counterfeit Fallkniven F1s

The Fallkniven site has a picture showing the clear distinction between the CHINA fake F-1 hard sheath and the genuine article. But, unless and until they fix i, the text identifying which is which is so tiny (Think 2 pts type.) that it cannot be read - even with a magnifying glass.

I pointed this out to Fallkniven,m and they sent me a much better picture, and here it is:

If history repeats, the fakers will "fix" this distinction.

The sheath is a good indicator in pics, if they actually use pics of the product and not a legit one as bait. But the overall quality of the fakes are pretty poor. I suspect that a massive patch was dumped out at one time, and are just circulating around. The one I had in hand had a nasty molding seam on the handle and the blade finish would charitably called rough.

Also have a flat final bevel rather than convex.

I spotted a fake on eBay a year or so ago due to the box being wrong. THAT they can easily fix.
