Counterfeit Sheaths (caution)

Lately I have seen a rash of counterfeit sheaths being passed off as "Busse Factory Sheaths"

Be aware that this is getting to be quite a problem and if stung you will loose substantial value in the resale of your Busse Knife!

I have talked directly with Busse in regards to this blatant ripoff and have received permission to start cataloging the sheaths and produce a manual, or book if you will, of past and current factory sheaths.

This full color collectors manual will not only show the different cardboard used but will also show the tape fastener and the different pens and pencils used to label the sheaths.

This will be offered at www.bussecompanystore.com for the low price of $19.95 in paperback and $49.95 in hard bound.

But wait, there's more! Order yours in the next 30 minutes and get your Factory Sheath Bookmark for free! Yes, a $15.00 value yours today for free just by helping to stamp out those bastard rip off artists infringing on Busse factory sheaths.

Please.... Watch for rip offs and report any suspected counterfeits to Busse Combat or myself.

I know Charity....sweet girl. She'll appreciate you "donating" more proceeds to her. Vicki must be very proud of you.

I talked to a "source" and was provided a lead.

Hope this helps stop this disgusting black market......

While a face is not shown, there may be enough clues to identify one of the culprits.

In addition, in the upper left corner you can see the kind of tools these artists use in their trade.....

judginb by the photos my busse factory sheath seems to be something of a rare find. its bound with genuine brown packing tape as opposed to the clear (and obviously cheaper!) stuff I see in the photos.

As a result, I am offering it for sale at the bargain basement low low price of $100 which will of course be immediately put towards my next INFI purchase.

Any takers?

good eye thatdicktraceyguy, now if we can only identify the first capture of the black market sheath dealers. AND please don't stop there, he is probably only the tip of the iceberg!

Check your pics, check your movies, i'm sure the clues are many!!!

Maybe its a fake... have you ever considered that????

I'd send it to jerry to verify its authenticity... Thats the only way to be sure.

Funny... really funny

This discussion raises an alarming possibility. When I receive a new Busse, it is my habit to write on the pristine cardboard sheath a short notation of the particular knife that it is for. Do I seriously impact the collector value of the sheath when I perform this non-factory modification? Has my carelessness cost me several cents in value?

OMG!!

my dear fellow, do you realize what you have done to the collecter value of these knives? :barf:

Nice detective work Mike! Shame on the perp!!!

I bow to you Skunk! I have never had any wishes like that when I've received my blades from the factory!

Cheers,
BJB :D

skunk, thanks for exposing these disgusting bastids....when you buy Busse you don't want some POS knockoff sheath to come with it :grumpy:

Be sure you get the original "Wauseon" cardboard produced in the heart of the corrugated paper belt. Look for the union label...

THG!!! You dirty Rat! ;) How could you do this to me? How will I ever be able to show my face again at the Busse booth in Atlanta?

Oh, and I see you already cashed that check I sent you for your cut. No regrets, huh? :p

At least I can tell Jerry that I spent everything on more INFI. :D I might just be able to keep my hide intact at Blade!

peter, did your eu-17 come with the factory scabbard? if not i would get one from the seller right away :grumpy:
