This one shouldnt really surprise anyone. This is the same size and length as a normal halo. But I have never seen a custom Marfione halo in this configuration so it should not fool anyone. The handle is half carbon fiber half titanium and a titanium draw bar. No logos or serial numbers. If you see this in the wild do not buy it if you are seeking a genuine microtech.

The fraudsters are stepping it up I see ... I wonder if they did a hand rubbed Satin finish on it.

I dont think its a fake just a Frankenstein knife.looks to be made by spare parts from the shop.I have seen two others not same material but just like that.I am completely wrong if someone tried to sell it as a mariphone custom.the other ones I saw ,one was all aluminum no paint or numbers markings at all.made by a worker.the other was a badly anodized ti no markings.both were made by employees from spare parts.now if someone is passing it off as all original that sux I hope no one buys it but if they sell as a Frankenstein knife thats ok dont pay allot though.were did you see this?

No its a fake. You will just have to trust me on that. It is NOT a parts knife. It is made in china. I am not at liberty to discuss where these are sold as it violates the rules. There will be tons of these and they are made in silver, purple and blue so far. Im simply letting people know these will be out there and to avoid them if they desire a genuine microtech. It is 100% guaranteed NOT a parts knife. You also have to remember, people will often use that excuse for these unmarked clones because people know that BS story will find some people who would buy a parts bin knife but not a replica made in china. This is chinese TC4 Titanium, a VG10 blade and chinese completely voidless carbon fiber. Also, M/T does not make a halo in this size anymore. The halo 5 is over an inch longer than the above knife.

You've got to watch out for "parts bin" knives too... a lot of these "Unique Employee" knives are made with stolen or unauthorized components and people in the past have sent these knives in for service only to have the knife confiscated by Microtech.

More than a few people have gotten badly burned and lost hundreds or thousands on these "Employee" knives before, myself included.

exactly. If people avoid counterfeits because they are stolen property what makes stolen parts from the factory any different? My thoughts are they arent. Sure they may be genuine parts ripped off from M/T but no one is sure if they came out of a garbage can, the warranty department or the production line. As such i would be weary.

I think he didn't want to advertise for a place that sells this kind of crap which is exactly what you have done.

thats why I askef were you saw.its, wierd the Chinese usually put markings on it.let me guess ******** was selling it

You will have to keep guessing but please keep your guesses private. The only reason someone needs to know where they are being sold is to buy one. As long as you avoid those places and remember this thread you need no more info than that. This is a warning not an advertisement. And craytab is right out of respect to the wishes of the forum you should probably edit your post.
