Hey all! MTech has a SOG Desert Dagger rip off. If you do a search for Mtech dessert dagger on ebay you will see it. Even claims to be an exact copy!! Shame people try to make money on a great company like SOG!!
 
Yep, its on there plain as day. Maybe SOG sold them a license to use their patent.

EDIT: Christ, these are knockoff cheap knives.
 
I found it, looks nice enough, wouldn't mind having it to beat up the old thorn tree in my yard. I'd rather have the real deal and get a real quality blade from sog.
 
I found it too. MTechs are crap. I bought one of their lockbacks once just to use as a beatup. The blade snapped the first time I used it to shape a piece of wood. The next time I used it, the locking mechanism snapped. Cheap ass company. Nothing but a waste of money.

I agree, MTechs are just a waste of money, might as well add $8~$10 on getting a real knife with a quality name.
 
Iv been using their double edged throwing knives for a while. Its held up fine. The knives themselves are far too light to be thrown well at longer distances, but they work.

i wouldnt trust their folding knives at ALL though.
 
What is total BS is that Ebay outfit is from sogoutlet.com ("OFFICIAL SOG DISTRIBUTOR SITE"). I don't get it. Literally.
