Country of Origin - Assembled in the USA, but made in??

some SOG knives are apparently assembled in the USA, but where are those knives made?

Well, most of the Assembled in the USA knives have AUS-8 steel, so maybe Japan or Taiwan?

China or Taiwan, of course. Unless explicitly stated as "Made in Japan".
