Ordered me one of these bags. Just long enough to stash my pistol grip 870 and a box or 2 of shells in. A folding stock rifle would fit in it great too. Looks like the SO tech Go bag. Waay cheaper though. Gonna make for easy truck gun transprt, and if I ver needed to disceetly carry my weapon home in a SHTF situation.

I believe these are new to county comm. That place is stellar!

My shotty will fit in it stripped. Thts what I am thinking. I dont need it at the ready when transporting it around, just wanted a handy way to pack it.

That thing is awesome!

I have a mine bag by them and its great, will have to pick one of these up to.

I got one. They also come in black now. The bag carries real well. I loaded it up with 3 big sodas that barely fit in it, pretty heavy, and very comfortable carrying it home. I kind of got it on spec, not sure what to do with it, but it will make a nice light cargo bag and day bag for a stroll around the lake. I have a lot of my gear modularized, so toss in two or three packs of whatever, a plastic box with lunch and a couple of drinks, and I'm good. I won't notice carrying it.

They also have a new BOB, the XL-BOB that looks a good bit larger than the original, which I've always liked. I am getting the XL, though.

Yeah, I saw that too Esav, those things look awesome. I have always been impressed with the quality of their nylon gear. Glad to see em expanding the line a bit.

Glad to hear you like your bag, I always wanted a SO tech bag, but these look pretty similar, and are waay cheaper.

I read an O2 cylander fits one great, I might just have to use one to replace my jump bag for all my medic supplies. I love molle!!

I like the satcom bag better than the SO tech. Those outside pockets stick out too far. If I need extra pockets, it's easy to molle them on -- and off. The whole idea of the bag is to be compact.

You are right. I like the versitility of being able to set upmy own pouch configuration on this one.

Wow, I like the look of that.
It also looks pretty decent QC wise. Let us know for sure when you get it what its like.

very cool J... county comm is pretty darn dangerous, with all of their cheap prices...

i was checking those bags out the other day... i wouldn't mind picking one up myself... especially at that price..

Guys Maratec gear is really well made stuff. Way worth the price.

The price is unbeatable too.

Grab one Mike, you wont be let down.

I've had mine for a while. It is more than decent quality.

A lot of nice design touches, too. There's a grommeted weep hole at the end. The shoulder strap is padded -- one reason it carries weight so well. The shoulder strap is also molle'd so you can put a cellphone on it or other gear like a water bottle. Along each side is a double zipper: one side has a full length pocket, the other has two half length pockets, for small gear.

They always have something in the works that's cool. Does anyone have the tiny little shortwave radios they sell?

I wish they would make those AA & CR123A battery holders in AAA size for my Energizer Penlights, I'd never run out of light with two spare changes of batteries for that thing, I'd be walking the beach with Heston before I was out of light. :D

I have the little radio. I also got their windup antenna for it but I can't be sure how much it helps -- north Jersey is pretty dense with radio stations anyway. It's a nice piece of equipment, gets good reception and plays clearly. The digital readout distinguishes between neaby frequencies very well also.

Batteries: take a look at the tube vaults they sell, the "baby soda bottles". We had a discussion about them here. I just tried one out with AAA batteries and it holds 4 easily. Put in two more and they come a little bit over the top, but you can still screw the cap on. Practically crushproof, definitely watertight. If you save up caps from other drinks, you can colorcode your tube vaults.
