I own quite a few pieces of County Comm gear, including a couple of their little shortwave radios, a Marathon TSAR watch that has been very faithful, a little map reading light, and a ton of other stuff. Not only is the gear they sell great, but the folks who run the joint are some of the nicest you'll ever meet.

I have bought a lot of little gizmos from them.

I also got the responder bag and it is great. It holds knives, lights, bandanas, space blanket, leatherman, STR ti pry bar, first aid, etc, etc, etc and is shoved in my backpack that I carry all the time.

Had great service from them!

I like everything about them except the fact that they won't ship to an APO address since they only use UPS for shipment.

I know other companies that also use UPS, but at least they'll go to the post office once a week to ship to the guys deployed. In order for me to get my stuff from them I had to pay for shipping twice and put a buddy out. Plus, to make it more of a fiasco, their system took the APO address and accepted the order.

Poor form on their end and I won't be ordering anything else from them.

I would LOVE to order a whole bunch of stuff from them, but I'm in Canada and they dont ship up here, besides they use UPS, which is horrible for us CDN's because UPS hits us with additional procesing fees ($40 and higher) on top of shipping.

sigh
