Just ordered one. Seems like a great price, lower than the alum version. Anyone else ordered one? How do you like it. Not sure if anyone has gotten one of the ti models yet. Think they have only been listed for a couple days. The alum model has been out a while.

Does look like a nice light. Just ordered a TPF in copper so I let this one slide by but was tempted.

I don’t have one but I have ordered from County Comm on a few occasions and I’m always impressed with the quality of the stuff they sell. It should be a damn good light for ya.

Looks nice, I sent the link to my wife as a stocking stuffer idea... keeping my fingers crossed;).

Put in an order this morning. I've been toying around with the pen light idea and then saw this.

Got mine today. Had to leave for Baltimore right after so didn’t get to play with it much. It is very good quality. Noticeably brighter on high than either my copper or brass single AAA Maratacs. The clicky switch is nice. Finish is top notch. I still prefer the single cell Maratacs but there is a place for this one.

Why do you prefer the single?

Mine arrived two days ago and like all my Maratac lights it's great. I pocket the titanium mini daily and look forward to seeing if carrying the double AAA works out as well.

Just the size. I got to take the 2xAAA outside tonight. WOW, potent for such a small light.

For some reason pen lights don't seem to be in. I'm just not into carrying a fat light that takes a CR123 but I like the idea of a longer light like the S2 Baton, so I think this will be right up my alley.

How is the quality of Maratac lights in general?

Where are they made?

I've never tried one, but they appear to be well made.

I'm not sure where they're made but the 2 copper AAAx1 and AAx1 models I carry are very well made and are still going strong after a couple of years of daily use. Seriously, I use one or the other multiple times a day.
The batteries seem to last forever as well. Much longer than my single CR123 lights.

Got mine in and it's not a keeper for me. Nothing wrong with it but I don't care for the size or the clicker on the rear.

I'll find out for myself in a few days, but what's your complaint on the clicker?
I ordered this one specifically for the clicker and one handed operation.
The other Maratacs I own are bezel screw op type.

Complaint: I don't like how far it sticks out of pocket at all. That could possibly be solved with a longer/deeper clip.
Preference: I guess I prefer the interface to be at the front of the light so I don't have to hold it with my thumb at the rear.

It's a good light just wasn't what I thought I wanted.

I think they are made in China. I hate that as I will not buy a knife made in China no matter what the quality level. I will say that the fit and quality of the Maratac lights are top notch. Have not had an issue with any of them I have owned. All that said I still carry an ARC AAAP on my key chain. It works every time I turn it on and to me it is set up better for key chain carry.

Just got mine today. Looked all over the packing but no made in info.

Really really like it. Had the copper flood light which I did like too but it was so short I bumped it of my pocket a few times. It's going into my little ESEE E&E kit though and this is now snug in my pocket.

Some pics to follow after use.

I got one, it is awesome. I paid the same price when the single AAA came out in titanium. That light is ok but it gets hot fast and makes me a lil nervous. I have the titanium one clipped to the newspaper pocket on the side of my briefcase. I had also bought the black aluminum version before which performs exactly the same but is black aluminum instead of titanium, I think I paid $40 for all three of these lights. They are all awesome. As small as they are though, I think it would be weird to carry a flashlight around in your pocket all the time. Then again I feel weird carrying a knife either anymore.
