You guys always talk about Rag Weed Forge so I am giving them a try. I ordered a Mora 680 and a 840. Love those Mora knives. These will be added to the SS Blue Clipper. Mora 2000 and The Blue and Yellow Carbon clipper and the Laminated Craftsman that I already have. The Blue and Yellow carbon clipper is BAR None, the sharpest knife I have ever seen. This takes the honor away from the Gerber Gator in 154CM steel.:D

I like the Mora shape. It is a useful little blade that really can't be improved.

Best 10$ I ever spent. I use them as car and truck knives and in emergency kits.
Ragweed forge is not interested in dealing with Canadians though.

I am also interested in the Russel/green river knives. They are simple carbon steel blades with wood handles and the skinner can be mosified into a Nessmuk quite easily.

I also really like the wood handles Green river knives. I have four of them as well as the old Carbon Five Red River Knives. What kind of mofification are you speaking of? The Old Hickory knives are a real bargan as well. I really like Carbon steel for working knives.

I think you misread the info on his site. He says: "Fall '07 update: It (shipping to Canada) seems to getting better. Postal rates have gone up a bit, but everything has been getting through without problems.

Doc,

You are correct,

No problem shipping to Canada, every time things went very well. Mr. Ragweed is great to deal with.

I love my clippers. Next I am getting a Mora 2000, it will be my first :)
