Couple nessies......

My buddy made the scales and sheath for that Fiddleback. He's known as Aliloff around here. That's a nice pair. :thumbup:

He made this hammered leather sheath for the Koster I had. When I started making sheathes I had one of his next to me for inspiration.

These type of picture threads are awesome. How is it cutting? That nessie was from my first batch! Ailoff does great work too!
 
Fiddleback, Ill let you know when it arrives how its cutting. I borrowed the pic from the dude I bought it from. I paid extra for express shipping so I coud get it in time for my trip this weekend! First batch huh? Pretty sweet! I have wanted one for a while so, im pretty stoked!

that is a great looking nessie J...:thumbup: i remember that one from that first batch that andy made...:D as andy said, i was also one of the lucky one's that got one of those too... i got first pick actually...:D

here's my 2 fiddlebacks... the nessie and the bushcrafter...:cool: both of these knives are excellent field knives...

I'm buying a bunch of 5/32 blanks of that model, the Bushcrafter jr, and the Bow Legged Joe from Great Lakes Waterjet. I should be able to pick them up at Blade Show.
 
Ooo. I misspoke. The Bow Legged Joe is 1/8"

All 01 steel.
