I posted these in the Busse forum a couple weeks back and forgot to post them for you guys. So here they are.

I was so impressed by the GameWarden pin lock sheath that I had MikeyMoto make me, I commissioned him for 2 more custom sheaths for my HOGASH and BATACLE.

The BATACLE sheath is a mid ride slightly canted. I had him carve Black bear prints on it. This will be the knife I carry while bear hunting.

The HOGASH sheath is something that Mikey and I came up with. I had him carve the leaves of my favorite type of Oak tree. Valley Oak (Quercus lobata) I told him I wanted to be able to change the ride height (low, mid, high) and also be able to attach it to the daisy chains that most of my packs have on them. The belt loops are interchangeable and all the leather straps come off.

I told Mikey what I wanted and he exceeded my expectations. I really wanted to see what he was capable of and I found out with these sheaths. I have had these for about a week now and find myself looking them over in awe. I have had the opportunity to wear the BATAC sheath on a hike and absolutely love it. Thanks again Mikey. Your work is amazing.

Very cool sheaths. The maker is one talented dude!

That's some drop-dead gorgeous leather work! Great stuff, something you can be proud of having on your hip. Thanks for the quality close-up pics.

Very creative. I figure I should like the leaves more because they required much more skill, but I've never seen anything like those prints.

Outstanding work on both sheaths. I'm most impressed with the leaf design. Thanks for posting them:thumbup:

Stunning work. I love posts like this because it makes me want to try new ideas on the next sheath I make.

very nice leather work.

i like that the one retention strap is cut to match the contours of the handle scales...
