Couple New FBs at the Knife Connection

That one was beautiful for sure. I wonder what happened to the runt ;).
 
Not usually to into tuxedo handles, but that Runt sure looks good in formal wear. :)
 
Dale sure has some beauties. But his prices have got to be the highest for Fiddlebacks online.

Nah. What you said was pretty accurate IMO. If you've never sold an item ever for $600, then you're falsely advertising an inflated price. Like the electronic stores in NYC with their signs, "everything 50% off everyday" .. then it's not 'on sale', that's your normal retail price.
 
All these things have been brought up before and discussed with Dale and nothing changed.

He can charge what he wants, but the fake sale pricing is crazy. Hopefully folks that would buy a Fiddleback have done research and know the true pricing. Perhaps that's why there are 21 in stock there.
 
I've got no knife in this fight but I usually roll my eyes when browsing Fiddlebacks there and see that "List" price followed by a line stating how much you saved.
 
The knife is actually selling for $308.50. That's a $44.95 battle horse sheath. It just sucks that you are forced to buy the sheath. But it's a decent sheath.
 
For those of you justifying the high price of "The Knife Connection" with the inclusion of a sheath, please look again at KSF prices. They also include a leather sheath ...
 
FB Mafia... LOL. Nathan and I put in our two cents on prices earlier and then decided to withdraw our comments. This has been discussed before. It's nothing new. Doesn't mean it can't be discussed again. I just figured why bother and happily withdrew my comments.

The prices at all the dealers are what they are. They're subject to what the market will pay. Hence why, as Nathan noted, TKC has 21 in stock. I don't justify dealer prices. I just don't get worked up about them. And I choose whether I pay them or not and move on.

Just a note on KSF, that sheath typically means a $40 markup over Andy's prices. Not disparaging Derrick or KSF. I like Derrick and KSF very much and have made a bunch of great purchases from them and will continue to do so.
