  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Couple new Mora models coming out

The Swedish army issues the 2000 so curious if the Kansbol will be it's replacement. Looks like a better match for MOLLE attachment to vests etc.

The Swedes still have an army?

Seriously though, my 2000 works very well for breaking elk down into manageable chunks. I expect the Eldris would be very handy as a pocket or neck knife around camp.
Pretty darn useful in a bug-out-bag, get-home bag or 72 hour kit.

I've often thought about taking a 2000 blade and cutting down the blade with an abrasive disk, leaving the front few inches like the Eldris, and slapping a new handle on it.
No need to now, the factory version looks like a better solution.

The Eldris seems useful and the big round handle looks a lot more comfortable than most small knives. But I do wish it had the standard belt loop like the companion.
