Couple new Sebenzas and a couple questions

I'm wondering about that too. The stop pin definitely moved because I had to move it back so the blade would close after I took disassembled the knife. I moved it so that the blade would close and then left it like that. Does that seem correct? Are there varying degrees of acceptable stop pin placement? Or do you know you have it right if the blade closes?

Either way, it looks like I'm sending it in. Their form says it will take at least 3-4 weeks. Seems like such a long time to be without a knife I just got. At least I have the small Night Sky to carry in the meantime.

CRK designs these to be as simple as possible, and end user serviceable. If it opens and closes smoothly, locks open with no vertical or horizontal blade play, and closes with good detent, you are golden.

I can't see sending one of my knives in for a month or more, but that's just me....I'm not the most mechanically inclined person on this planet, but I think your knife is working fine, now?

I kind of wish I'd read your reply about 2 hours ago Razzle, because I shipped it to Idaho earlier. I'm sure it's fine but the truth is, ever since I accidentally bent the washer, I've been worried that was affecting it somehow. This way at least I'll have peace of mind that it's fine. Thanks everyone, for the help and for the compliments on the Night Sky. I had wanted one for a while but thought they didn't make them anymore. Then I read on here that someone bought one at a retailer so I started looking. I couldn't be happier with it. It looks amazing and I can't believe it's in my pocket.
