Bk's shatter when you hit anything hard.. Really.. There are videos out there. Not sure about the Ka-bar ones but the originals I think were said to have some flaw in the metal or temper. I know that website knife tests where they destroy them, the Becker broke just after a few strikes. Is why they only gave it 1-2 stars. I had one of the original ones, the Bk9, and missed a branch hitting a pebble, it chipped the edge a bit. I sold it for a nice price though since it wasn't a bad chip and they are out of production from that company.

ummm.... I think a lot of people would disagree with your statement... and if you chop a rock with a knife the edge will chip with pretty much any kind of steel
Thanks! First pic is from a 4 day, 2300 mile camping trip thru Washington (yes, Beckers were used to hurt wood).

Where in Wa did you go?
I was near cougar this week! Went camping out that way, check my most recent started thread to see some pics if you want!Dropped way down through Idaho, then up to Palouse Falls (in first pic). Headed over to Cougar, to see Mt. St. Helens, then up to Ellensburg. Went through Leavenworth, the over to Grand Coulee Dam. Took the long way home from there. I don't do Interstates when I'm on the bike, you see way more stuff. It was a great trip.
Hey Vltor........
That happened late and I figure I get into plenty trouble with four wheels.........LOL.....

That's awesome! I really like the one of a kind touches you have put on that bob.
