Couple of kitchen knives WIP

Hello,
I've been away from my grinder for a semester of studies, so I have been unable to make any knives.. But I'll be going home for a week and I'm planning on doing some grinding :cool:

Here's a few idéas I'll be working on, though I doubt I will be able to finish anything, but at least they will be ready for HT next time I'm back home.
These drawings were done in a hurry, so I might change stuff as go about making them. Scales will be micarta and the bolsters 416 SS and Stainless Corby rivets.

I will be making a prototype out of some aluminium to get a feel for this steak knife, subject to change!:D


I will be making an EDC fixed blade as well :thumbup::thumbup:

Made some progress today, the large kitchen knife has been profiled as well as my EDC, which is made out of some CPM 154 steel I had left over from another project. Super happy with how both of them feel in the hand, I think they will turn out great!:cool:


I use a hacksaw and files, as well as the belt grinder to do the profiling. :livid:
