Nice. A Klvuk, and a kami sheath for 60 plus a little shipping. What's not to love about that.

15's mine! KLVUK on the way. If that aint a deal then ill eat the other one!

There's customer service at its finest! 18 minutes from time to purchase. Paid for, email response, and in the mail today! Cant beat that with the back of your Khuk!

Happy new KLVUK to you. Gonna look like a knife to remove slivers from your foot compared to your gargantuan Bowie but we all need something to remove slivers from our feet.

Well done. 15 was my choice of these two although I can't say why, both near identical in all areas. Just the one that spoke to me, it was kind of a whisper but it spoke none the less. Or it might have yelled and my hearing aid battery is just weak.??

Thats for pickin blackberry spines from my feet and biltong from my teeth! Bawanna I think you like the contrasting wood of them handles. I noticed we seem to pick the same ones. Still havent gotten the Bowie broken in yet! I will tho. Pics when I do.

And yes Ron they do have nice thickness to them. I havent seen a spine shot of one until Auntie posted this so i had to pull the trigger.

The first one reminds me a lot of my first khuk, a kumar made villager. It even has a fold on spine. 11+ years later and its still rocking and rolling. These are some fantastic values:)

The little fold looks like they just went a little far with the fullers? No problem there. Adds character:cool: Will definitely try it out tomorrow. I got a hell of a lot of brush to clear before the toad frog engineers come tues. Im building in an area where an endangered toad frog lives so before you do anything they have to send out the biologist to make sure you are not endangering the toad or its habitat before you pour concrete all over it. $10,000 fine if ya harm one. No problem if your cat eats one tho:rolleyes: Ha! Anyway will be a good test for the villager.

I wonder who makes the villagers nowadays?

Oh Man ! What the???? Now that was about a dumb question...I cant believe I even asked that?:foot: Thanks Greg. That must have been before my first cup of cofee. Hope someone got a laugh out of that one! "Keshar Lal Villager Utility Khukri" Duhhhhh!
These should all be Keshar Lal.

ndog, I sure got a laugh out of it this morning. It was too early for me to say anything with tact. I hoped you would figure it out eventually. The guy's name is right there in the model name LOL!

Sorry Keshar!

Don't feel bad dude, I drank a whole pot and it still didn't click for me. Dumber than I thought I reckon.

Who would have know. I better write this down so I don't forget, Keshar make KLVUK's and ndoghouse is clueless before coffee. Check!

Well in everyone's defense, Kumar didn't make all the Kobras either;) I suspect we'll see some of these beauties show up by other kamis and be called as such:)

I have to say something in defense of all the people who are hitting themselves in the head. Even if someone knew what the KLVUK acronym stood for, it's not self-evident that "Keshar Lal" is the name of the kami. Unless you happened to read and remember a couple of the early threads where that was explained.

For example, is the CAK named after a kami named "Chiruwa"? Is the GRS named after a kami named "Ganga Ram"? Actually it is, but they're made by someone else these days. Then there's the Chitlangi and the Chainpuri, named after villages, not kamis, if I recall correctly.

So don't beat yourselves up too badly. :)
