Well the sad thing is I knew dang well what it meant. If we met in public and said KLVUK how would you pronounce that? You wouldnt say oh i picked up a Keshar Lal Village Utility Khukuri the other day on DOTD. You might pronounce it "killvuk". Hmmm? Naw but thanks guys that goes right next to the dumb and dumbest question for the year award! I think im gonna go sit down now and polish my Kumar Karda and have a cold IPA. Maybe I should have had that IPA this morning? Wonder who makes the Kumar Karda by the way? Dooooh! That ones marked on the blade dummie!I have to say something in defense of all the people who are hitting themselves in the head. Even if someone knew what the KLVUK acronym stood for, it's not self-evident that "Keshar Lal" is the name of the kami. Unless you happened to read and remember a couple of the early threads where that was explained.
For example, is the CAK named after a kami named "Chiruwa"? Is the GRS named after a kami named "Ganga Ram"? Actually it is, but they're made by someone else these days. Then there's the Chitlangi and the Chainpuri, named after villages, not kamis, if I recall correctly.
So don't beat yourselves up too badly.![]()
Bawanna you got me pegged! I usually get to work and first thing I do is log on and see what you all are doing. I may wait till break time from now on before i humiliate myself publicly any more.
Im still tring to get this one down!Almost as cool as Amar Singh Tapar Kami.
