I have nothing but good things to say about Razorback knives and Burchtree knives. Purchased a Razorback knife off the forum that looked every bit as good in person as the picture presented. It was also bloody sharp! Nice sheath as well came with the knife.

I special ordered a Cashmere EDC from Burchtree knives as an EDC knife. What can I say but another bloody sharp knife with a beautiful hamon. Also, I requested a horizontal sheath for the knife. OVerall its just a tad under 8" and I carry where the butt of the knife is almost at my zipper. Beautifully done sheath! In fact, I've had several horizontal sheaths and this leather one from Burchtree has been the best to date. Some others made their sheaths overally large and sitting down they have had a tendency to dig into me a little. The blade width is wider than several of those knives so its design my friends and it looks like some thought really went into this one.

Scott and Mike are two great knifemakers and great people to hang with. I met both at Blade numerous times and had a great time sitting around drinking and BS'ing with both of them. Their knives are well made and can handle pretty much anything. I believe that the rep of a good knifemaker depends on their personality as well as their skill. Scott and Mike exhibit both.
