My Mick Strider custom 6.5" arrived today and all I have to say is I'm quite satisfied. No way! This thing is INCREDIBLE! I've handled a few Striders in my time, and they all are amazing, but this is truthfully the coolest knife EVER!! Aesthetically, it is a work of art. Plus it fits my hand like it was made for it- much better than the straight handled knives. Every detail- the stripes, the pommel notches, and especially the handle are incredible. The design is great for reverse grip too.

One more thing. A couple minutes after I made the above post, I was talking to my GF while casually handling the knife. Sliced the hell out of my finger. This thing is WAY sharp. Much sharper than most of my big blades. Not sure how Strider manages to get their blades so sharp, but I'm impressed!

Whadaya talking about mediocre? Those pics are better than what I've seen in a few magazines and many dealer sites. You did fine - though you had great material to work with! :D
