I thought I'd try dipping my toe into the pool of automatics, and have found that they are not quite my style. I have a couple of very nice Pro-Tech knives for sale or trade. Both are top notch quality, fire hard, have solid lock-ups and are all-around great knives - for what they are.
Both are lightly carried with minor suffing on the metal frames and clips. No dents, dings or chips. The blades are perfect, appearing unused. I have the original boxes and baggies for both.
The first is the more-gentlemanly 803 Harkins ATAC D/A . The 803 features a satin finished 154-CM blade with ambidextrous thumb studs (you can use them to open the knife manually). The body is black anodized T-6 6061 aluminum, features a stainless liner lock mechanism, and has carbon fiber inserts on the front of the handle. Beneath the topmost insert is a secret button to activate the knife automatically. It has a black finished pocket clip on the back (tip down). This knife is #FPR341
Of course, pictures...
Next is the more tactical TR4. This is one of the Blade Show 2010 prototypes (#15 of 50) is a very impressive knife. It has a sliding safety (on the front of the handle) and a 4" satin finished 154-CM blade (plain). The ergonomic handle is black anodized T-6 6061. The knife has a black pocket clip (tip up) on the back of the knife for easy carry. Also includes a black nylon sheath.
Pictures....
Understanding these have been carried, I'll discount the price accordingly. I'm sure there is also a newb factor here as well.
For the Harkins how about $250 Shipped and PP'd SOLD
For the TR4 Proto, lets try $175 Shipped and PP'd SOLD
(CONUS only please & I'll discount for money orders)
Trades - user regular Sebenza's preferred.
Thanks and Merry Christmas everyone!
-Steve
EDIT - I'll go $375 for both if anyone's interested. SOLD!
