Couple of questions about zero tolerance.

Here is a question I have on ZT: Are they really made in USA? I hear rumblings on how every part is made in China by Kernshaw's Chinese division and shipped over here for final assembly to get the USA stamp and the $250 tag. Is this true?

Kershaw, not Kernshaw.

Every part eh? Funny, I've never seen your "rumblings". Are those true? Don't take YouTube as fact...and never trust a guy with Michael Jackson hands or Kris Angel rings :D

Just an FYI...you cant mark assembled items, comprised of offshore components, as "made in the USA" without getting your manhood sued off. That's common knowledge in the business world.

I am talking about the blade showing it has really been used not just a pocket toy.

You know wear marks, scratches etc.

You know evidence of them being used for more than cleaning their fingernails.
My bad. I'm sorry for responding in the way that I did.

I've had a 0400 for a little over a year and, while it isn't designed for delicate slicing, it has cut, chopped, or pried its way through anything I've needed it to do. Its a hardy blade I can rely on to tackle anything without having worry about damaging it, as I would with my less tank-like blades.

I am becoming more and more comfortable with my 0350. This last week it has had alot use on the job.

The 0200 is a TANK! But solid.

Definitely true on the legal stuff. The knives would have to be marked as "Made in USA with components made in China."

An example is the 5.11 Master Karambit which is made in Taiwan with US made s30v steel. They don't specifically say "Made in USA with comp...China" but the advertising jargon does say the steel is made in the USA while everything else is made in Taiwan.
