i bought a mint mr. mofo a couple of years ago. when i got it i thought this was to nice to use so i just looked at it until about six months ago. now this is my favorite survival knife. i have beat the snot out of this knife like you would not believe.
where the saber grind meets the flat is nicely polished and there is many scratches in the dcbb finish. i even used a baton on this bad boy and got it stuck in a log that would not give so i had to baton on the handle which caused the micarta to fray out near the blade catcher. it is worth it to me for how fun this knife has turned out to be.
anyone know how to fix my handle?

Use them if you want to. I would have no problems using any of mine if I really felt the need to. I have enough users that I can keep some pristine, however, if that weren't the case I'd use any of them.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I truly appreciate it. I have decided (for now) to keep most of the one's I buy pristine but keep a few users. Thanks KAAK, it was a lot of fun. I appologise, no pics, as I could not find the camera.

So true! All the users I have bought or sold were right about $25 or so less than mint. I like them used because as was mentioned takes the first scratch willies out of the equasion.

Good advice thanks! That is the same thing I was thinking too! But I have decided to buy one, if I can, whenever I get a good price and keep them safe. But if I get something really cool then it will be a user.
