Couple questions about HT and AEB-L

I've just started working with AEB-L, and hoping for a couple tips about HT. For starters, I've wondered if it's acceptable to stack two knives in the same piece of HT foil? Since I don't sell my stuff, saving a few $$ makes a difference!

Also, I understand it's important to cool the steel quickly after the different heat cycles. I move as quickly as I can from the oven to the aluminum plates. But what if you're heating, say, four blades? It takes a certain amount of time to pluck a blade from the oven, move it to the aluminum, and then grab another blade. Is it acceptable to remove all the blades, get them on the aluminum, and then get the second aluminum plate on top--keeping in mind the annoying warpability of the stuff? Or should I be doing one blade at a time? I'm trying to follow the exact soak time specified in the recipes.

Thanks for the insights!
