Couple questions on Sunray-Inc wheels

Would steel have any benefits over an aluminum wheel? Seems like the extra mass and momentum on a heavier wheel would be better as to not bog the machine down as easily, but I'm probably very wrong.

Also, they have a Crown type tread. Would it be suitable for a tracking wheel (or maybe the question to ask is: what makes a tracking wheel do what it's supposed to do?)?

Do I need a setscrew for the drive wheel, or is the standard keyway OK?

The reason why I'm looking into Sunray-Inc is because my motor has a 7/8" shaft. If I'm already going to get my drive wheel from them, I might as well get the others there if I can.

A setscrew holds the key in place, you use both together

crown is needed on the tracking wheel to keep the belt from drifting side to side. The tracking wheel also needs a means of
adjusting for tilt to put the belt where you want it on the contact wheel.

I'm working on a GIB, so it will have a tracking setup. I was just curious if there was a specific amount of "crown" needed for a wheel to be effective.

Another simple question: Idler/contact wheels are just mounted with a 1/2" bolt into a tapped hole right?

EDIT: And also, could someone clarify the difference between an aluminum wheel and steel? Which one should I go with (I think they're the same price)?
