Courtesy as common sense

Thats too good Dan.

Mike, I think the reason you demand thanks is because you demand it of yourself. Never once have I left a conversation with you not feeling good or thanked. Even when I rub big FISH pictures in your face you thank me for it. BTW, I have more for you later.

Thanks everyone ! :-)

I look forward to seeing the fotos, Shane. That trip you had was awesome and I enjoyed your enjoyment of it immensely. :)

Fitz......

As "Elvis-the-Pelvis" said many times........ "Thank you ladies and gentlemen, thank you very much"

Many times when I had to leave "PalTalk", I would always sign off by saying "Thank you for being who you are, and for sharing so much information". I meant it every time I said it, and I still mean it today.

Fitz, its folks like you that make us "newbies" strive to do a better job.

I congratulate you and your wife on your anniversary. You both are to be commended. Life today is tuff, and those who can recognize that their partner is a true strength to them are far and few between.

Again I will say.......... Thank you for being who you are and for sharing so much information.

Your Friend.......... Robert

Robert, I honestly thought of you and exactly that as I was starting this thread. Mentioned it to Nanc, even, by way of example.

Maybe it's our age group upbringing or maybe it's just a choice we made along the way somewhere but it's thick in some people and absent in others.

Thanks for the congrats. Nancy's burning us a steak now, literally, with a Bernz..... :)

congrads on your and Nancy`s anniersary. some thing you both are proud of if your friends were like mine they told me it would never last . alife long partner is something. and we are hoping you have a good day tomorrow .

No, sir, my friend, the thanks are all mine for the well wishes.

I'm gonna pay for this thread, aren't I??? hehehehehe

Meanwhile, now she liked your idea about the Viper, please send money or land from Tennessee..... :D

I have been lucky enough to benefit from this community from when I started in knifemaking. I am very greatful for all the help...and all the laughs. If it wern't for this place, I'd probably still be cutting up saw blades with a torch....
Thanks!!
Ed

Big guy, I hope it wasn't me that pi$$ed ya off! I should thank you for all you have contributed to us, too. Especially a guy like you that swings such a big hammer! You good, big MIke!

hehehehe...

John, I am no more than a broke down, crabby, prematurely old man too frail to even tussle anymore. i honestly don't think I'm the only one feels the way about some of the things I've b*tched about the last couple weeks. i just have nothing to lose and a big mouth. :( ;)

BTW, that's just a little 1000 gram hammer. If I need to hit it hard I just hit the switch and squish it..... :D

I suppose I feel as guilty as anyone here about not saying thanks. :(
When I get some needed advise on how to solve a problem--I tend to be a bit over enthusiastic ( a bit like my Lab with a new toy) to get in the shop and put the new idea to work.
........Thanks guys for your help so far...Kit, Fitzo and the rest know who they are.

Sean

My momma said the word was "manners," right before I picked myself up off the floor.

Thanks for reminding me, and have a great week. :)

BTW, that is the root of the problem with much of the world today.

I hope I haven't been guilty of this, but who knows, if I have I sincerely apologize, and well.....Thanks for the help.
I haven't really posted all that much anyway, but one thing that has impressed me alot from just plain lurking, is how freely giving everyone here is with whatever hard won info you have. I know that I am grateful for just the knowledge that I'm fortunate to glean from you guys when I come on, and lord knows it has saved me a bunch of problems.

So to everyone here, even the other noobies, thanks a bunch, I've gotten alot of info and encouragement from you all.

Jon
