I picked up this Cowan Creek Cattle King 4 1/4" Stockman on Ebay this week, total with shipping was $10.00 and I was amazed at the quality. It rivals Case for fit and finish and the factory edges were scary sharp. 440A is the biggest drawback, and the brown jigged bone is identical to that on Rough Riders, but I have searched all the forums and googled trying to find the importer, and came up empty.

Anyone know who's importing them?

440A or not, that's a nice looking stockman.

Wow, that does look good. Nice fit between the scales and the bolsters. I've seen them listed, but always wondered about them.

That's some mighty handsome bone for a $10 knife !!
Keep us up to date on how she performs......by the by....what other patterns are available in this brand ?

-Cheers

So far it appears they make just a Trapper, Congress and this large Stockman. And so far I have only seen them in this brown bone. Makes me think whoever is the importer, it's a fairly small time operation. As of a few minutes ago, I only find 16 Cowan Creek knives on Ebay, most other chinese imports you get hundreds when you search by brand name.

I too would like to know who the Importer is. I have been searching for months and have not found it. Can anyone help? Thanks!
