Not your usual style for a Busse but suited for an old west look on horseback in a pack train and about the best camp knife going. Of course not to everyones taste but what do you think?

Mostly done by hand except for grinding off some at the butt, it's a bone handle with stainless tubes. The balance point is about as original just in front of the first tube. The blade was sanded to 2000 grit as was the bone.

It's hard to describe but Infi sands differently than other steel, almost like a "creamy" surface. It's seems a lot harder down near the edge but the spine sands out pretty fast.

After working on a mod you really feel a friendly familiar attachment to the knife.

i can now use the first photo to shave. that is an awesome mod!!

Very nice! I have talked to people who said INFI throws weird sparks when ground. Great job though cant even tell its a SAR-5.

Yes, SAR 5 as you could all tell. Now Ankar knows why I was asking all the questions about his. Every time I take a photo of a knife I wish Coop was around.

Now I've got to post a couple in the Wilderness thread to show off my new backwoods carry.

Yowza!!!. . . Man, that is killer cool ! ! ! ! . .

Nice job!!!

That might be the nicest Sar5 I've seen. Fantastic work, and a great themed knife/sheath rig.
