Cowboy Camp Knife – designed to be used on a family camping trip (not the Alaskan wilderness) – slice a tomato; cut up a chicken; camp chores. Overall length 10.25”
Blade shape I call a drop point utility; 440C ss – approx. RC=57/58, flat ground; about 5 ½”
Handle is stabilized spalted maple with stainless steel pins and red spacers; 4 ¾”
Sheath is 7-9 oz veg-tan leather with rawhide cover and Mexican style loop and Concho, and, as all my sheaths, hand stitched. Right-handed.

Here's a knife that's made to be used. Made from 1/8" stainless steel stock, it's a bit thicker than a kitchen utility knife, but, it will still slice a tomato paper thin and disjoint a chicken. Sheath will look great at a cowboy action shoot or a cast iron cookoff. This is my first public offering since I started making knives about 9 years ago. Forgive me if I've left anything out of this post.

Price is $150 - SOLD and includes USPS Priority shipping with insurance to domestic USA addresses. Buyer is the first "I'll take it". Prefer PayPal or USPS money order.

Links to my personal intro and to email are in my signature. Thanks for looking.

Thank you, gentlemen.

Pitdog, I know it's a slim chance, but, would you happen to know Stuart Branson. He's a sheathmaker buddy of mine who lives in Victoria, BC.
I know this is not the place to chat - just a simple Yes or No and we'll take it offline, if there's a need.

Nice looking knife and beautiful sheath, too. I like the idea that you label the blade with the steel type.
I have lots of blades that I can't remember what they're made of any more. :-)

Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Stay sharp,

A beautiful workhorse. I would love one with a ram's horn handle. :)

Thanks to all for the compliments.

I checked the ususal suspects for ram's horn and couldn't find any. Never have worked with it - so, I'm not sure where to look. And, other than Ed Fowler's knives, I don't think I've ever see it. An email or pm with suggestions will be appreciated.
