Cowboy Camp Knife – designed to be used on a family camping trip (not the Alaskan wilderness) – slice a tomato; cut up a chicken; camp chores. Overall length 10.00”
Blade shape I call a drop point utility; 440C ss – approx. RC=57/58, flat ground; about 5 ½”
Handle is stabilized walnut with stainless steel pins and white spacers; 4 ½”
Sheath is 6-7 oz veg-tan leather with rawhide cover , light fringe and Lone Star Concho, and, as all my sheaths, hand stitched. Right-handed.

Here's a knife that's made to be used. Made from 1/8" stainless steel stock, it's a bit thicker than a kitchen utility knife, but, it will still slice a tomato paper thin and disjoint a chicken. Sheath will look great at a cowboy action shoot or a cast iron cookoff. This is my second public offering since I started making knives about 9 years ago. Forgive me if I've left anything out of this post.

Price is $150 - SOLD and includes USPS Priority shipping with insurance to domestic USA addresses. Prefer PayPal or USPS money order.

Thanks for the comments. This is probably the last knife I will make without a guard. In 2008 I got some encouragement and tips from ABS Mastersmiths Bruce Bump, Daniel Winkler and, mainly, Mike Williams. I also have had some discussions with a grand old knifemaker, Jim Pugh. I will, hopefully, "kick it up a notch" on my knifemaking by adding guards and pommels to my knives.

And, this one is sold.

Received the knife and sheath yesterday. They are a beautiful working set. Sturdy and attractive with very good balance in the blade. The sheath is particularly noteworthy in its fit and finish and stunning looks. I can't imagine a better camp/kitchen knife set than this one. I am completely satisfied. Thank you!!!
