Bought the above pre-owned RJ Martin Avenger from cpirtle ( http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=114905 , pirtle@neo.rr.com ), who, I should mention, is a true gentleman.
As he already had a pending trade offer for the knife, he kindly and in a timely manner informed me that I was second-in-line, and brought the pending deal to an honorable and timely end with the trader before giving me the final nod.
Immediately thereafter, he shipped the blade despite the holiday rush, and even split 1/3 the PayPal cost. A truly considerate seller, the knife arrived in even better condition than he described and was even enclosed in an attractive soft leather/fleece zippered case.
It was truly a pleasure doing business with Chad, and I would not even remotely hesitate to repeat dealings with him in the future.
