So I stopped at the store very close to my house for adult beverages

I make a stroll through the tequila section on my way to the register a must.....

I'm a big fan of ocho and this is the first time I have ever seen the anejo in stock anywhere near me

Only 1 bottle in the shelf......... mine lol

Same store down the street .... grab an adult beverage walk through the tequila isle on the way to the register...

I am really really enjoying ocho!

(Notice the barrel proof is way darker than the anejo.... flavors are different but found that interesting, I had to pick up another bottle of barrel proof while I have the chance)

The refinement of my margarita recipe continues:

• .5 oz Citronge (Patron)
• .5 oz mezcal (400 Conejos)
• .5 oz tequila (Codigo "Rosa")
• Lots of lime
• Tajin on the rim
• Big 'ol ice cube

I don’t know if I can offer anything as a refinement (as that looks pretty damn perfect to me) but I will offer an alternative option!

Years ago, I had a Paloma at a “way too fancy for me to be in” restaurant, and they used smoked salt for the rim….changed my whole perspective on life for a few years!! 😆😆😆
