I have some Tony Lama ostrich cowboy boots. I just don't like to wear them except in the winter because they make my feet hot. And when my feet get hot my whole body gets hot and uncomfortable. But I would still like to have a boot dagger.

I have to give a plug to my employer. Monday was my birthday, and at 4:38 a.m., we got an All Staff e-mail from our CEO and CAO announcing that in October due to better-than-expected business recovery since the start of COVID, when we shut down all nonessential clinic visits and surgical procedures, we will be getting a third paycheck for $1,000 + the 7% pay cut all of us salaried folk took for eight weeks during our COVID-inspired austerity measures.
