CPK Pet Thread

Today's the day. Bringing Skyler to the vet in about an hour and change.

I feel like all the air has been let out of me. Trying to be strong for my wife, so the only folks I can talk to right now are you guys.

I know it's the right decision...to do this before she begins to suffer and lose her joy for life...but man...it sucks. (I know Mark just had to go through it as well. He and I texted the day before he walked that road.)

Think good thoughts for her. She's been a great dog and a wonderful companion. We will miss her terribly.

Tina took this picture of her just a little earlier...

You and Skyler are in my thoughts, E

I am terribly saddened by this news Elliott 😢 Choked up quite a bit actually as it brings back my own no so distant memories. We have become quite a tightly knit family unit in here, specially in the CPK-Pet Thread. I truly wish both you and your wife both strength and endurance in dealing with Skyler's passage over that rainbow bridge. I wish for my Truffles, Livvie, Hercules, Coal and Rover to greet Skyler on the other side and run around tirelessly and joyfully on those boundless green meadows on the other side <3
