CPK Pet Thread

Looks like it's the same thing as last time. Some kind of strange infection. The vet is surprised because he can't find any kind of a puncture on the leg and it's the same leg this happened to back in June or July. He couldn't find a puncture back then either, though.

My nephew is coming over tomorrow and we're going to rip out the rose bush in the back yard, burn every stupid plant back there, and haul out any branches or wood scraps we can find. It's going to be a bad day for anything in my backyard that isn't a rock or 2x4. My buddy has a skid steer on standby for me. Whatever did this is going to die.🤬

He's already on antibiotics and steroids. This is how they treated it last time and it worked great. I'm just pretty shocked it's the same leg again.

I don't know what is causing it which is why I have to take such drastic measures with my backyard.
Idiopathic infections are the worst.

My Weimaraner had some weird stuff going on years ago. I ended up having to put him on steroids, give him eye drops and other meds for a while, but he did come around. I thought he'd be the death of me with some of the things he put us through.

Hope your boy comes through this and breaks the cycle.

In other news, we just found this thing in our yard. As exciting to him than the new knife for me (he does get antler treats …)
