He’s not allowed to do that of course… just too tempting.

He loves balls. If you let him sniff one tennis ball, then hide 3 of them in different places, he will find the one he was shown initially, by smell. Favorite game daughter #1 likes to play with him.

That dog looks Big.
It's so amazing how good dogs are at finding stuff.

My parents had a dog who had a red ball, blue, and green. Same otherwise.
Nobody taught that corgi, but it could seek out and find the color you called out.
*Idk if they smelled differently? Not to Us.

That dog was unbelievably Smart......and, an A-hole.

My dog, a rescue "lab mix" is kinda derpy, but the sweetest thing ever.
Her job (she thinks) is to sniff all the stuff we bring into the house

M Mendoman I hope it helps! Let us know how it works out. I told my dog if he ever did it again, it would be less work and hassle to dig a 6’ hole. Of course I was kidding, he was the best dog ever, but he stayed out of trouble nonetheless. Given their incredible sense of smell, I’m sure he enjoyed it even less than I did 🤣. He has since passed (of natural causes), but that’s a memory I’ll never forget.

Well the treatment helped some but he definitely still smells like skunk. Probably enough that he will be allowed to come back in the house. He had his first “camp out” last night. He was sprayed as I was wrapping things up and preparing for bed. It was too cold to bathe him last night. I think he actually liked it pretty good sleeping outside. I would let him do it more but don’t want to hear him bark every time a squirrel farts two miles away.

For future reference:
The sooner the better on washing after being sprayed.
Also, if he had a collar on it will need washed repeatedly if fabric. Last time I just threw it away and bought a new one.
Yes, no getting out the smell from his collar or your clothes for that matter.

I got sprayed full chest and face back in high school.

Mom made me strip naked in the back yard, had to throw away all my clothes, including my wallet and favorite belt too.

Washed off with the garden hose (ice cold in November), and lathered up in Old Spice, (did not help), but still went to school.

Learned a lot from that lesson. Tomato juice does not work.

I can still smell it to this day 😆
