Gus recently tore an arm off and nearly split in half his Christmas gift so I got out my needle and thread.

David, my condolences and genuine sympathies. This kind of goodbye hurst and stings like a MoFo. I'd luv to stick to my childhood belief that he went thru the Rainbow Bridge to join the others gone before him, to play happily forever in the sky meadows for our dearly departed pets

Thanks everyone.
He was a great dog and was never sick till recently. A great guard dog and friend.

The last few years my two fur boys liked to just sit out in the shed with me and relax and just listen to Pink Floyd and sleep.
They had done there work and were in retirement I'd laugh.
The other guy is walking around looking for him as he was the leader.
We have to enjoy their company while we can as those years flew by.

So very sorry, David. They rely on us on doing that, but it's one of the most difficult chores in life. I keep telling myself that they are waiting for us in Valhalla ....
