Also a side note - Smudge likes to burrow or nest.
So I have to leave bunched up blankets on my couch when I’m not home or he will dig a hole into the sofa cushions.
He has ruined two couches.

Well, my Labrador once literally ate a sofa — I mean, literally ate it. We had to replace it. Haha.
Smudge is awesome.
Maybe he’ll realize he got a bit carried away?
Had this same issue with my boxer/rot mix
Came home one day and it looked like a t-rex ate my couch
He had to be cut open and have the wood, fabric and foam removed
