CPK Pet Thread

Current pup. She sulks in her kennel when I have to go into the office. When I am in the home office/play room she is by my side in the chairs. Great dog over all.

Day 2 day, we are both up early, while the other one sleeps in with mom (after breakfast).

Part of the routine is taking a knife photo for the EDC thread. :)

Sometimes he's interested:

Sometimes he doesn't care:

And sometimes it annoys him:

That third picture is GREAT we had a Rotty years ago she was a handful but the funnest dog we have had.

This is Mercy and the Pigg ( Penance). We started out the last decade with Grace, then added Mercy. Grace passed and it was time for Penance ( see the pattern) Penny Piggs to her friends. 1/2 crippled, mostly blind, non stop gas, drools like she has a leak, fairly deaf and the best dog I’ve ever had!
We knew she was special needs when we adopted her. What we didn’t know was how much joy she would bring to our hearts.
Mercy is a great big sister and is always there to help the pigg find her favorite toy or just hang out with her as the pigg needs lots of contact.

They are so cute! I love that 2nd picture. And I really wish my dogs liked each other that much. :)

So OP says . . . "all of our pets, past or present."

Here are my two dear departed sweethearts - Penelope and Sadie - on the lookout in the back yard. Both Goldendoodles, unrelated and born a few months apart. They were a terror to all bad birds and squirrels.

Can't have any dogs right now, so I live vicariously through my neighbors and their new rescue dog, Abby. She's a sweetheart.

Beautiful dogs, and thanks for the reminder, TAV.

Here is our previous pack (was still shooting film back then), Wotan, Thor and Loki:

Just remembered: one of the scariest issues we once had was our Dane twisting his stomach:

If you have big dogs, be careful running them after a meal.
