One-off Abdominal Ventilation Tool based off of the Super Duty Field Knife (scales compatible with standard SDFK scales). Acid-washed D3V, deep hollow grind tanto, double red canvas micarta scales. Comes with Chad's sheath fitted for this knife (had to send it to him) in oxblood to match the scales and with the Mummert Ti clip that is my preference for CPK Pirtlemade sheaths. $1,700. New and unused (markings on the blade are from the liberal application of Renn Wax I put on all knives that I store in their sheaths) from a Fun Friday sale in June 2023.
Absolutely did not want to sell this one (only my Bluey SDFK is dearer to me from my CPK stash), but I need to let a couple grails go because of a weird thing that happened - there was a Zuckerberg glitch on a Facebook open auction with a five-minute anti-snipe rule that Tom Krein was doing for an absolute grail of a framelock Alpha folder in Intrepid-pattern Nichols stainless damascus and Mokuti handles. Tom was watching on his phone and ended the auction without seeing the last two bids, one of which was mine and the other was me being outbid by the winner of the auction. Both bids should have reset his five-minute rule, but they didn't show up until after he refreshed the posting after closing it and locking comments. Tom felt bad about this and honored the last bid he actually saw for the winner and promised to make me something comparable but a little different at the same price because I hadn't had an entirely fair chance to bid before he closed it.
... this means I need to come up with $5,325 before he gets around to making that knife for me, and that means in order to acquire that grail, only selling some of my existing grails could possibly pay for it.
***NOTE*** Notwithstanding my standard shipping terms noted below, this particular knife will ship late because I am waiting on an Amazon order of shipping boxes that fit larger fixed blades to arrive. This is due Thursday, and my mail usually gets here well after the post office closes, so likely the earliest I can ship is Friday morning.
Under no circumstances will I e-mail you requesting payment without a conversation on the forum. I do not request payment by Zelle, PayPal F&F, CashApp, or Venmo (I do accept payment by these methods but will never ask for it).

I ship promptly, either same or next day depending on time of payment, by USPS Priority Mail, fully insured, and with signature confirmation required on delivery upon buyer request or if the insured value is >$500 per USPS policy. I will promptly notify buyer of any delay in shipping. Contact me prior to payment for other shipping options.
I request buyer reply promptly after receipt to confirm delivery and satisfaction. If I have not heard from you within three days of delivery confirmation, I will consider the sale final. No returns for buyer's remorse. I make careful effort to accurately describe and photograph knives I sell or trade, but if you feel that the knife was not accurately described, please contact me within three days of receipt to arrange return and refund and send me a picture of the defect.
I'll leave positive feedback for any buyer who posts in the sale thread, pays reasonably promptly and promptly notifies me when they receive the knife.
International Buyers
Contact me prior to sending payment to verify payment and shipping plans. Any international buyer assumes full responsibility for the knife once shipped - I will accurately describe it on a customs declaration in terms of description and sale value (not label it a 'camping or gardening tool' or mark the value to be minimal or 'gift') and international buyers assume all risk of customs confiscation or shipping loss. For international buyers using mail forwarding services from the U.S., my responsibility ends once the knife has been received by your mail forwarding service.[/URL]
