CPKs and beer!!!!

Makes sense as it's the only one that isn't local to me out of the three - not sure what the distribution is like for Ninkasi or 10 Barrel. I think it's been mentioned before but it would be neat to arrange a beer exchange on occasion. I've done it before a few times with other forum members in the past and it's worked out pretty well. We just have to use something other than USPS, if I remember correctly.
I'm so down for this

CPK beer of the month club ! Lol

Please let's get a list of people interested in this idea!!!!

I miss when I could drink more than one beer and not get sleepy let alone be hung over A.F.
That's because you have to power through timmy.... power through! lol

It's awesome to try different styles and find what you like!!!!!!!

Remember beer was safer to drink than water in the old old days

I wonder how we could make that work.

Maybe:
- Randomize the list after it's final, and then have folks draw a name? or
- Delegate?

Hmmm... 💭

I like this a lot!!!!!

We should break up members from the same area that way we can try something we wouldn't normally see

I am most definitely down. Different waters across the country result in a lot of different flavors of beer. In all of my travels, sampling the local stuff has always been a highlight.

I was just going to mention styles. Though I have my preferences, I usually find something to like about most anything - including cask ales (which a lot of folks don't like).
I like brutes (don't find many of those)

Hazy
Double/triple/quadruple imperial (my fav)
Blonds
Seasonals
Not a fan of anything coffee flavored
But i will try anything I have the chance to regardless

I don't think at first glance (as they say), coffee and hops mix very well. That said, Rogue Brewery over here did a coffee IPA that wasn't too bad. I think a light roast or green coffee does pair pretty well with an IPA. Otherwise, the darker stuff belongs with the darker ales.

I don't think I am able to pick a favorite style. I like Imperial stouts, NW style reds, browns, and pretty much anything Imperial. I am also a huge fan of Dunkels and Doppelbocks.

I have a Rauchbier (smoked lager) in my fridge that I am saving for tomorrow.

Edit: Oh! And Dark or Black ales - all the awesomeness of a good Porter or Stout, without the heaviness. I love it when a brewery nails a good dark ale.
